The 4 main techniques are
Multi-layers illustration: superimposed tinted wood panels of different colors and engraved techniques.
Line images Degrafik: different shadows of a picture converted to lines by mean of variable width machined lines.
Dotted images: image reproductions using variable diameter engraved dots.
High and low relief engraving: reproductions made using high and low relief techniques, in which the picture gets converted into a 3-dimensional surface.
